Great, great weekend. Congrats to the boys.
you mention doubts about whether Japan and Samoa have brought genuine sides and it is clear that they did not -just like Fiji last year.
I think the only people who field a world class side are Kenya and thats for the home fans. the rest see no benefit of fielding world class sides, after all they play 8 world class tournaments each year.
2 conclusions
-either we get our tournament on the circuit (which IRB have said is not possible)
-or we make it one of those 'Singapore or Malaysia tournaments for teams to warm up for the circuit
So long as it comes after the series I do not see teams sending genuine teams. In fact this was one of those tournaments that we knew the winner even before it was played
