Mad Max Returns

As the dust settles on last weeks Kenya Rugby elections, the winners
pat themselves while the losers lick their wounds. One man who is
sitting perched and smiling is Mad Max Muniafu. His return quietly
from Australia has seen him poised ready to take the reigns next year
as the Barclays ex-rugby cartel sit pretty comfortable in charge of
the board and office. The 'Bakiley' team in place are Fred Odhiambo,
Frank Sabwa, Edward Rombo and of course Fred Ollows. Henry Emuye
another erstwhile ally played with most of the cartel at the defunct
Breweries RFC. The way Mad Max controlloed the Universities vote at
last weeks election could not escape unnoticed and it definitely sent
a shiver down all the way in the rugby fraternity. So twelve months
down the line Mad Max will make his triumphant entry and ascend to the
chairmanship of the Kenya Rugby Football Union. Only then will we all
know where Kenya Rugby will be going.
