Teams for Safaricom Sevens Named

There are no major changes in the team to play as Kenya in the Safaricom Sevens this weekend. Sidney Ahioya and Benedict Nyambu step back into the side. Innocent Simiyu is carrying an injury obtained in London and will not take part in this edition of the Safari Sevens. Dennis Muhanji moves to the Shujaa side where he is sure to get more game time. Interesting to note is that some "academy" players are missing from either side and makes you wonder if their selection to the team was a mistake! I have always advocated for and will here put in my two cents... I would have liked to see the winner of the National Sevens Circuit in the Safari Sevens.

How can a team with 3 out of 5 legs of the national sevens circuit, and not get a single, not a single player on the national 7s teams!

People
is this Strath side the first one to win the circuit and not play in the Saf 7s.Common there are others to name afew.
As for Strath i give them kudos for the work they do in 7s and 10s, bit they have been called up in both 15s and 7s and cant hack it on their own. As a team maybe so that suggestion of Mitch coaching and calling all his guys is the only way they will make it.

We should all watch shujaa ( the real one) this weekend i think they have a really interesting squad!

see the issue is that these Strath guys can match up to the Shujaa taem any given day, the fact that not even one guy was called up to shujaa let alone the 7s team is absurd!
trust you me if a bigger club won, and by this i dont mean mwamba...they would have been playing this weekend!!
Hii ni ukoloni mambo leo!
Na chesko ana save skin yake coz he knows if Keya does not win, then he kisses his job g.bye!
All said and done, i choose the lesser of the two Evils & support Shujaa!!
