is indeed most welcome as the game of rugby or the Union needs
corporate support to enhance growth of the game. The sponsorship has
been broken down to ksh 4M year 1 then 4.5M year 2 and lastly 5M year
3. That is what Western Union is giving KRFU.
In return KRFU have given all branding rights irrespective of what
agreements are in place between existing clubs and current/prospective
sponsors.
This is what KRFU is then disbursing to the clubs in total:
Kisumu 250000
Nakuru 250000
Mwamba 250000
Harlequins 250000
MSC/Spartans/Shepherds 250000
Prize Money 116000
Total 1366000
Balance 2634000
Commissions 15% (GM) 600000
Total less Commission 2034000
Participating clubs/teams ksh 0 and warm up t-shirts
So my learned friends, what does KRFU use Kshs 2034000 to do? Administration?
Your guess is as good as mine. Western Union and clubs please wake up.

Eagle, don forget 2 union directors Wilfred Ombisi 'WillieO' and Innocent Moturi 'InnieO' are both employed by Westen Union. Otherwize good storo.
u forget the GM has to travel to all tourneys. So does the DM and 'Honourable' Secretary. Thats all part of administration.
Are referees and other volunteers paid?
moral of the story being?
the 2mill is for committee upkeep, salaries, allowances, car loan payments, mortgages e.t.c
Leg one of the circuit was run without a cent from the sponsors. If the KRU really was seeking sponsorship to run the event, how can they accept a deal where they give Western Union exposure 'on credit'? Let's watch and see if the chums will appear before Prinsloo. I highly doubt!!
