Mwamba Western Union Champions

Mwamba regained the Western Union National Sevens Circuit with a confident display that saw them reach the semi finals of the just concluded Driftwoods Sevens in Mombasa. With that achievement, they gathered enough points to prevent Driftwoods champions Harlequins from overhauling them at the finish line. In the end 5 points separated the teams and it was a fitting end to a circuit that saw the two teams stand head and shoulders above the chasing pack. Quins also had the distinction of having been in every final of the circuit.

Attention now turns to the beginning of the regular season that may be interrupted or delayed by the CAR Cup competition.
