Kenya 7's - Missing Kit Incompetence Part 3 : Fine looms

Kenya could be fined by the International Rugby Board for playing in a borrowed kit in the match against Arabian Gulf. The IRB have never experience an incident like this which is a first by Kenya. "This is incredible", stated a source from the IRB currently in Dubai.

Richard Omwela, the Kenya Rugby Union chairman who is holidaying in Dubai at the Dubai Sevens said that would be a harsh punishment for Kenya who did all they could to get the kit to Dubai. "They should understand that this was not a deliberate deed by the KRU as we made frantic efforts to get the kit to Dubai in time for the tournament,” Omwela said.

A decision has been made to brand the training kit.

shame- let them get fined so that they learn.

If the KRA story is true then KACC need to get in the mix and arrest the necessary KRA officials. This is called bringing your country to shame!

Why would a national team be charged duty on kit they need to represent their country? This is an embarrassment of epic proportions. TOTAL FAIL!

Eyes said...

rubbish! govt charges its own national team duty. can't clear the kit for 3 days even when money presented to them. i really wish the team played on in zim kit. it' s the only game we won anyway.

nonsense focus on kit when the team can't play. on attack, get slow ball all the time. poorly aligned, so no pace on the ball. pass the ball across the field like toddlers. poor support lines when anyone penetrates.

on defence, the defence line sometimes organised, many times not. 1st time tackles, such a joke.

no kit would ever fix these basics. someone, anyone, please, please coach this team.

Sad but i just have to say, Guys i itold you so..

The simple solution is to sack the management.

That team lacks one thing "a coach."

Lets not complicate things

You MOR guys trade carefully...

You now shitting where you illegallly eating.

Why are you guys behaving like gutter press....

You guys are so focused on the wrongs or failure of KRU or Kenya 7s yet you illegally benefit from K7s.

Arigi what you are doing is wrong,

i have said it before and say it again. If you see potential in Safaricom offering bamba 5 bob or scratch cards on tshirts, do you now start making scratch cards?

My hate for the Fat Qwhine is rugby related as they are really fixing everyone, but MOR ...

Keep building enemies.
1. Players (eating in their name)
2. KRU
3. CLubs

Meanwhile KRU always has an AGM so the money for the Dinner will be in the accounts and can be questioned their.

Now the public money you guys collected from the Dinner or Tshirts (ati money goes to players), have you ever accounted for even ksh1.

2. kru
3. players/ clubs
me as fan or as or player have my own opinion.
Secondly i dont care what issues these pple have (Kru and MoR) ,i enjoy going to watch the game wherever i please and dorn whatever i prefer and spend my money how i like to.

Locks, Locks, Locks, funny stuff here. if you do not give the MOR any money why would you want accounts from them? if you did not pay for any of thier dinners why would you want to know the accounts? will all this take away the fact that we looked bad on the international stage? it is sad that those guys have scared you to this level, actually you give them more credit than they are worth, you are the custodians of the game, just do what your paid to do.

Anonymous said...

could it be possible you were too busy countering the dinner they held to remember kit?

Locks said...

Why are MOR so scared when accounting for their funds are mentioned? Kuna kitu hapo. So long as one collects money from the public it should be accounted for. Shida iko wapi?

Anonymous said...

How do you expect people to account for tour money? Iko tour buda hehhe.

Anonymous said...

@GREG,you are clueless and sound very bitter.

who paid MOR money you? if you did then ask them what they did with it the rest of us pay for quality we see and we have no qualms about it.
Just go ask kina Arigi and Tonyango what they have done with the cash you gave them thats all, or better still do not give them any more cause if you do your a fool arnt you?

@mama pima!
first and foremost i like the way you analyze the beautifull game called rugby.thanks for your insight! secondly it has come to my attention that you dont like the outfit known as MoR and the club called harlequins totally and at the same time you will totally defend a (lone)Director of the KRU always no matter what happens. all this add up and you sound like one aged, scheming and tactfull lady who was taught a lesson or two in mombasa during driftwoods. we understand where all these emotions are originating from. please could you try and just stick to the issues @ hand stop dragging and hating this pple for things that only you have created in your head. pima your emotions the way you pima the oxygen supply to your brain.

isshe the one that bought a tv for a club? hahaha she should know what is being said about that hahahha but again maybe its not the reason she bought it.

@locks@Mama Pima,

Im MOR damu and proud to be.
1. i dont drink
2. i dont sexercise

On the MOR accounts issue- the money raised from the dinner went towards paying for the suppliers on the day ( venue, tents chairs...decor.. trophies, food, entertainment, sound etc)

Money collected from the auction is still being collected from those who pledged and will be donated in its entirety to Thomas Barnados Childrens Home.

Plans for a visit are underway..details will be released on the MOR website and facebook fan page for details maybe you should join us.. and see what we are all about.

If Mamapima changes his/her name to Hellen, the lineout calls at Impala will fall apart. Tony Hellen Karembu is a bit hard for those brain challenged forwards at Impala to deal with
