Australian side Waringah Rats will play their first game after arrival in Kenya on 6th February 2011 against Chairman’s select at the RFUEA grounds. Their second game will pit them against Kenya A the following Saturday 12th February 2011 again at the RFUEA Grounds. The Warringah Rats have in their ranks players with Super Rugby experience as well as some exciting youngsters. Doubtful that they will send their strongest squad as they look to have in their team for the tour a few retired rugby veterans like dual international Scott Gourley.
Nevertheless it promises to be a fresh breath into Kenya rugby as incoming tours have been all but extinct especially for the fifteens version of the game. Names asoociated with the Warringah Rats founded in 1964 are Wallabbies Pat McCabe, Pek Cowan and Mark Gerrard. Other established names are Sam Harris, Josh Holmes, Brett Sheehan, the Kennedy twins, Katoni Ale and Dan Raymond.
Both Kenya select sides will need to be at their best in order to demonstrate the gains made by the Kenya 15's side currently ranked 32 by the IRB after sterling performances winning the Victoria and Elgon Cups in 2010. The teams selected to play should be 23 years and under in order to give exposure to the upcoming university and club players recently finished school. Kenya A last played under Charles Cardovillis in Tanzania last year. Together with Mitch Ocholla, Eric Situma, Sidney Obonyo and Paul Murunga they should handle the two teams.
Go Kenya A Go Chairmans.

good exposure for the kenyan sides which are scheduled to play. This shows that atleast teams are considering kenya as a touring grounds for their teams
It would be nice to take Rugby Supporters Tours from ITC Sports and watch an awesome game.
