Weekend Games

Dead rubber all the way as positions are basically decided. Once more the thriller will be the university's derby between Strathmore and Machine. Impala host Nakuru, Quins are at home to KCB and Mwamba will travel to Jamhuru Park to face Nondies.

In the derby despite the feeling of loss and the game being in vain, Machine will put up a good fight. If they keep their composure and not try to match Strathmore's open play, they should pip them by a couple of points. Impala will still be smarting from their fourth loss of the season and I don't see them accepting another one, so I give them this over Nakuru by 10. Having received the trophy two weeks ago, there seems to be no motivation for Quins whilst KCB have been on the up and up. I give KCB this by 8 points. Mwamba will annihilate Nondies...

Do have a good weekend and enjoy your rugby. Commiserations to Mean Machine but I believe a good wake up call.

a)Machine vs Strathmore - Machine will most likely want to leave a statement and will play their hearts out in what is their swan song in Kenya Cup. Machine by a one try margin

b) Impala vs Nakuru - the wheels fell off the Impala bus a while back. I see Nakuru taking the battle to a clueless Impala and coming out victors with a large margin.

c) Mwamba vs Nondies - Nondies stand no chance in this battle and will fall heavily to Mwamba. Expecting a margin of over 20 points to Mwamba

d) Quins vs KCB - The supposition that Quins will repeat the lacklustre performance they showed last week against Impala will be KCB's undoing. The Enterprise cup pairing pitting the same teams against each other next weekend makes it a battle to establish supremacy going into the knock out. I foresee KCB throwing everything including the kitchen sink into this one but still not having enough class to pull off a victory against a technically superior Quins. Quins will carry this one by a narrow margin

After coaching Nondies to nowhere, the Octopus has resigned to a commentator job. Useless.

KCB will walk over Quins, Machine will beat Strathmore,Nakuru will pip Impala and Mwamba will white wash Nondies.
Quins lack motivation apart from trying to go unbeaten. If the 1st leg was anything to go about, KCB will know how to beat them this time round.
Machine will play for pride and beat a Strathmore side that has loads of talent but no leadership.
Nakuru will play with verve and will look to take advantage on the very fast sinking Impala ship.
Nondies will lose this one easy.
