Enterprise Cup Finals

A sprighty affair, dampened drenched by a second half downpour. If you had not played your rugby by that time it was all over, and maybe that was the key. Kudos to Harlequins for an unchallenged season and keep the momentum up. To the other teams, maybe pray harder as there are several games Quins could have lost this season, but the other teams failed to drill the final nail in their coffin. Does the Supremacy cup then matter so much? Is the winner the ultimate champion of 15's rugby this season? Maybe change this game from a supremacy cup to a pre-season charity cup, as they do in other countries!

Do have a good week and Pedantic, I'm very much around... just wondering about MinerData!

A quick bird's eye look at the top three this season.

Consider this: Quins *could* have lost every single game this season, if/if/if...

The reality is that they were willing to do all the invisible and inglorious stuff that others ignored and/or downplayed. The result is a consistent performance no matter what came around their way.

KCB deserve a special mention. They played a simple game, but with amazing conviction. Too bad they were so easy to read from where their opposing technical bench stood!

Impala, on the other hand, failed to bring anything new to the season, and this for the first time in probably a decade. Not sure why, as they have quality players, money, etc.

Ah well, still a few trophies to be played for this season, let's see how these three square up!

Well done Quins; better luck next time KCB; and better plan next time Impala.

We have a very bad trend in this blog and at the casual bar talk sessions i have been privy to after games, "we glorify mediocrity and find all manner of excuses why Victors arent really Winners"
If Quins have a Coffin which should have been nailed by all and sundry and KCB were naive technically and Impala were not their usual selves yet they all got the top spots then where do the other 5 teams fall in????

Mamapima said Entereprise was the one and we waited and now it has come to pass, please revive the sadili deal thats all you can comment about and we wait to see as usual if it will come to pass.

Miner Data was getting us interested in the predictions arena and i also wonder where art thou?

Grandslam rumor has it is between KCB and Quins, lets wait for communication from the relevant authorities and see where this goes.

Otherwise folks KRU Elections are here so lets brace ourselves for the intrigue etc

hey guys. To be honest, I got tired of the rubbish that was being posted on the blog as oppossed to good rugby talk when it came to predictions, etc.
The blog has become about B.S. politics that is hindering the progress of our game at all levels.
I read some of the comments in disbelief, because its pretty obvious who these people are. It is individuals we have left to run our game, individuals who play a big roles at club level.
A lot of these individuals belonged to clubs who are struggling with their own internal politics and forgetting that we are here to play rugby and nothing else.
DataMiner & PENDANTIC, for your sakes and all those who have remained poisitive, kudos and lets continue with our predictions and positive rugby talk.
We can continue with the IRB series, floddlights and follow it up with the BRSS.
The Grandslam is pointless to even attend.
Quins are not interested.
KCB and Impala still know they are 2nd best.
The Union better start rethinking this cup.

actually for this to have any credibility, the owners should control it.

many stopped reading it because of what it has become.

actually there should be real names and emails printed with your opinion.

then the trash talkers can come out and say what they have to if it has any truth in it. hiding behind pseudo names shall be a thing of the past so only credible guys will contribute.

actually, all those things he says he wants to do at KRU, sijui get sponsors, pay players more money, sijua what? hwo come Mwamba does not have all those things. they get sponsorship from GSK 500k (kit is 250k the rest in product). This is a stepping stone for his political ambitions in 2012... Rabar is looking for a cheap way to get his products on kenya 7s and improve network... we would rather even vote for nyamo dspite the fact that he is just chasing quin interest....

aparrently they will fire all KRU staff. Jack will be the MD, Kwiks Development Manager, Chweya will take Mike Mwanjas job, Quins will be thrown out so that the club house becomes an office. Rabar will be Marketing Director, Terry Director Western, Adul Director Coast. Kwanza can Rabar pay his obligations.....liek staff and teh chinese so that the water like can be re-opened
