After we lost to Wales, thats where the plot began to unravel. A win could easily have guaranteed us 8 clean points in the quarters Main Cup.
Nonetheless, I think grassroots structures need to be strengthened much more to feed the national 7s team with continuous ready talent. We can't keep saying "we need professional players", while teams like SA, Australia and NZ keep fielding 18 year old youngsters from high school and Universities - and winning.
Where did these young lads get their professionalism and experience at 18 years? This is sheer raw talent well managed.
