The langata born and bred 'Franco' as so aptly described by Fred Ollows was found guilty of fraud, insurbodination and sabotage.
He joins another ex Mean Machine comrade on the sidelines of Kenya Rugby administration. It happened in Machine, Barclays and Kenya XV as well.
What a sad day for beloved Machine comrades.
It a is only a matter of time before Fred Ollows follows suit.

Mwangi Muthee needs to read the KRU constituion you can not sack a duly elected officer of the union only clubs via a agm/sgm have that mandate , he needs to start following the rules or he might nd destroying this lovely game we love , these cowboys antics will end up in acrimony and possible court action which does not help anybody remember it is easy to destroy in a day what has taken 20 years to build , if sabwa is corrupt then let the law take it's course
roadside management
How can members of a union elect an officer and then other elected officers throw him out!
Then the Chairman of KRU stops Tusker from expanding the RFUEA club house and a contract had been signed.
Then the 2 partners of leading firms are thrown out of the Safari Sevens committee and replaced by a dj and a member of an ESS club!
these indeed are very trying times for kenya Rugby a buffon has been elected chairman through manipulations the senior clubs should stand up and say enough it is the Moi era all over again
Let me say this, if senior clubs dont stand up to this then it will continue.
Mwangi Muthee, whatever you want to do its fien but just do it within teh governance structures of KRU. we dropped the name Football from KRU, so stop behaing like kasuve.
This does not help teh rugby cause. from the time you came into office, you haev just been playing politics, why not just concentrate on other things like atleast brining in money into tehgame which you have not since you were elected. this is not biomedica.
Other Board members, you haev brains and you cant behave like kina kamotho. if its wrong. say it. Paul Nyamodi i expected more from You.
When was sabwa investigated? Tried? who found sabwa guilty? w mwangi - you cannot be the investigator, prosecutor, judge and hangman. Read the new katiba. all this because sabwa refused to succumb to nonsense like paying delegates from western who attended the sgm
It is defamatory for KRU to say frank is corrupt if they have no evidence. i am certain lawyers are lining up to take mwangi and co to the cleaners for defamation.
Mwangi wanted to call an SGM to remove Frank. We have the draft motion but big clubs refused to sign. Why didn't mwamba sign if they have the balls. Contrary to popular thought, Mwangi has already lost the western block by this action otherwise where is the motion if you have numbers as your sidekicks like adembesa believe.
Mwangi, we are still waitng for the new kenya cup fixtures. Badly.
Finally, I hear Rabar is moving Kenya-Zim game to Nyayo stadi. At a time when Kenya needs to win a test game to win victoria cup, we just lose home ground advantage. all because Rabar is organising a big disco after the event? what happened to rugby taking centre stage. this is what happens when non-rugby people take over the game. they just want to make sure.
the funniest - one Dan Weku - has now been given the job of maximising Homeboyz revenue from safari7s. we are waiting to see how mwangi manages the conflict of interest here. but he probably doesnt know what that means coz "deals were cut"
Can the chairmen of the big clubs take the mantle and lead the game from this quagmire. Jalango, Sadiq, Nduati, Clay, Musangi (i forgot chairman's name but this is a sober rugby man), Alvas Onguru,- only you can save this game. I leave out strath as Isaac is on the board while HB are a two bit club. Its amazing how times change. Mwangi was at the forefront of this group whingeing about kenya cup which he wants to destroy by allowing teams that have played XV league for 1 year to play top flight rugby just coz they voted for him. Nonsense
Oh coming soon. Charles Ouko is set to Replace Mike Kwambo as Media Officer. Gichinga Media Adviser paid by KRU... kweli its our time to eat
i see bitterness here ,the forces of impunity are fighting back
the board can suspend any official of a club but not sack him
big clubs my foot, you want the game at quins so you can make a kill with the bar so its okay for rabar to make his
hehehhehehehehhe
and yes an audit was conducted chums are missing, the union made a loss of 3 million at bamburi so what else do you need
Mwangi is fool surrounded by greedy fools. His time has come. i personally iam dissapointed by Rombo, Nyamo and our chairmen of big clubs..all over the world rugby is never run by minnows and crooks..as their interest will be their interest only.
Mike rabar and Dan weku you think this is what will make homboys profitable..sick bastards this is not concert....
Iam not a supporter of quins bar but now i would rather quisn stay at krfu than mwangi destroy our beautiful game. in the last ten years rugby in has had two slumps, when Mwangi was director of 15s and insisted in putting mwamba guys in kenya 15s and now the biggest when hes chairman.
Nothing like forces of impunity here, it is just a fact that those who contribute the most to the game over the years are the stakeholders of the game. How many players does Quins, Impala and KCB contribute to the local league and national setup..man hours over the last 20years. and now we have a DJ as a director in just 2years of rugby..and his pet from france organizing rugby events.
If fore sure mwangi was for rugby. do what has been done well and add your input. i.e kenya cup sponsor..this witchhunting will only slow the growth of the game.
Get rid of Isaac and that DJ
latest news is Nduati and Sadiq are about to go to court to stop the current shenenegians of Mwangi and his bunch of merry men , is this when the ain started to beat us watch this space
Anon 12:36 Rugby belongs to those who know how to play rugby, period! You can have as many shenanigans as you want. If you cant play rugby or the team you come from cant play rugby or the team you support cant play, no respect can ever come your way.
In Kenya, a select team of every team after no. 5 can be beaten by any of the top 5 teams. What rugby can the lower teams tell anyone in the top 5? Useless total!
KRU has no auditor because the membership is yet to elect one. Who did your audit Anon 12.38?
Now supersport withdraw from kenyan rugby due to zuku sponsorship ,this is a major conflict of corprates who didn't do his homework ,well done mwangi muthee and company you have managed to destroy in 3 months a relationship built over 5 years now lets do safaricom
SuperSport pull out of local rugby

NAIROBI, Kenya, July 19- South Africa based pay television service provider, SuperSport has suspended live coverage of all local rugby matches.
A terse statement from the company read, “Note that all rugby productions in Kenya have been suspended. This includes this weekend’s encounter between Kenya and Zimbabwe.”
The development comes hot on the heels of Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) unveiling a Sh2m deal with another pay-TV service provider, Zuku TV on Monday.
Unconfirmed reports said KRU’s move to partner with a rival firm without consulting SuperSport was behind the move to suspend live coverage of local matches starting with Saturday’s international at Nyayo National Stadium that was to be televised on SS9 channel.
The announcement came just hours after the same firm ended the broadcast embargo on all Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Gor Mahia FC with their derby against AFC Leopards at Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday set to be televised.
“After receiving written assurances from Kenya Police and the clubs that all possible measures will be implemented to ensure the safety and security of fans and the SuperSport production team we decided to bring this game live to DStv subscribers and Kenyan football fans everywhere,” said Gary Rathbone, head of SuperSport Africa.
Gor were pulled out of the live coverage roster when their fans went on rampage during the team’s May 18 KPL Top 8 semi final against Ulinzi.
A production crew of SuperSport required nine stitches following the mayhem that also saw several vehicles, including Ulinzi’s minibus vandalised.
The club were docked Sh2m in fines by the Independent Disciplinary and Complaints Commission for the damages.
