Hi all. Just a Web Log promoting discussion on Rugby in Kenya; where it was where it is, where it can get to and how it can get there. Feel free to post comments, but no insults or abusive language. Constructive contributions only and tolerance to all views. You can directly send comments and messages to the blog owner at rugstory(at)gmail.com.
Could someone please give some background info on some of the smaller local teams with no indentifiable institutional/geographical name; ie Comras, Spartans, Oryx - what's their home/base. Also, is Mombasa RFC different from the old Mombasa Sports Club? I'm amazed at how much rugby has grown (and spread). I'm outside the country (been for some time).
As an Oryx RFC player, thanks for the recognition. we currently base at railways sports club where we train. mombasa sports club is mombasa rfc, i think.
Hey Pami let me shade some some light on the Mombasa issue first Spartans a club based in Mombasa is situated at Bamburi Cement grounds and thats where they train about Msa sports club the name remains the same the difference i might say is just the crop of new players
