I think what you are doing for rugby in Africa is great! Its never easy following a sport specially when you wish for quick noticeable growth. I think that Kenya has a great future ahead of it. I look forward to seeing strong forwards and quick backs who rival those in NZ and SA. Wish that club players in East Africa would get greater support from South African teams in order to improve the skill level in the game and allow for Kenya to create a rugby identity through a consistent style. I also firmly believe that a greater club system needs to be created so that the main teams have a better feeder system from a first division. The sport also needs to be promoted at a school level through weekly fixtures and festivals showcasing the sport.

Mwangi Muthee has been in office for exactly a year,made lots of promises lakini bado ku deliver them.Seriously,him and his cronies have exactly one more year to "eat" as much as possible.I agree with the other post above mine that rugby should be run by people like Max who understand the development part and progression of the game.I will take you back kidogo to the foundation of Damu Pevu and its decision to promote and spread the game outside of Nairobi in the late 1980's.Max had a huge hand in that.Look at in the early to mid 1990's when he showed up in Nakuru...see how Nakuru RFC hit the national scene?How about when USIU won Driftwood 7's in the late 1990's?We could go on and on,point is in comparison;the achivements of Mwangi Muthee are so thin compared to what Max has contributed to Kenya rugby.Look at the state of Kenya rugby today,both 15's and now 7's which has gone back to winning Shields and Bowls?!I say 12 months to go and lets get these guys out of office.

Big player but I believe the Crusaders can cope. Once they get the engine going they are a very good unit. Arguably the transfer of Sonny Bill Williams to the Chiefs has affected them more so far. They lack a big ball carrier in the backs. Fruean tends to glide though the gaps rather than bash.
